Introducing
CARMIX
The same work for 5× fewer joules. On the machines you already have.
Energy per unit of work · same machine · same output
Why now
Power is the limit. Every wasted joule is money and capacity you can't get back.
“With power constraints, every unused watt is revenue lost.”
How it works
Install it. Every operation costs fewer joules. Nothing else changes.
CARMIX runs inside Linux. It finds work that can be done in fewer steps, or has already been done, and proves the result is identical before taking the shorter path. Where it can't prove that, it steps aside. GPU compute is left untouched.
Every output matches the same machine running standard Linux.
Applications, containers, models and drivers stay exactly as they are.
If anything is ever unhealthy, the machine returns to standard Linux by itself.
The alternative
The industry buys efficiency with new chips. That takes years.
Graviton, Axion, Cobalt, Grace and Jalapeño were all built for more work per watt. CARMIX gets you there in software, on the fleet you already run.
| New custom chip | New datacenter | CARMIX | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Time to effect | Years | Years, gated by grid power | Days |
| Reaches the existing fleet | No | No | Yes |
| Capital required | Billions | Billions | A software licence |
| Reversible | No | No | One command |
Model your site
What fewer joules are worth to you.
Joules become kilowatt-hours, and kilowatt-hours become money and room for more GPUs. Enter your own figures.
Arithmetic from your inputs, applied to the host share only. Accelerator energy is left unchanged.

Start with one rack.
A pilot runs CARMIX beside standard Linux on your hardware and ends with a signed energy report.
AdamLabs builds CARMIX. Our name comes from the gap between two hands, the space where the work happens. For computing, it is the distance between what a machine does today and what it could do with the same energy.
